The organiser does not provide musical accompaniment in the first and second stages of the competition. Candidates should therefore perform their chosen piece with their own pre-arranged accompaniment (musician, band, a recording on CD or other device) or a cappella. It is important to note that accompaniment – especially with regard to recorded music – must be arranged according to the sheet music and form of the piece chosen from those listed on the competition webpage.
