ANIA RUSOWICZ

Anna Rusowicz – vocalist, songwriter and composer, recipient of 4 Fryderyk awards and well-known for her 1960s and 1970s - inspired songs, is an icon of the Polish musical scene. Working towards the premiere of her new album in the spring of 2025, take advantage of this exceptional occasion to see her take to the stage with Mazowsze Ensemble.

TEATR CAPITOL

Directed by Olaf Lubaszenko, Project Tuwim is an educational musical show for children, based on the creative work of Polish poet, Julian Tuwim. The play takes Polish classical children’s literature into a contemporary setting, with high energy dance numbers and lots of music guaranteed to make this a must-see production.

MŁODA HARTA FOLK BAND

Founded in 2004, the Młoda Harta folk band is formed of young people seeking to preserve and promote the musical traditions of the Pogórze Dynowskie region in south eastern Poland.  During their performance you will hear melodies which have been passed down through generations, including polkas, obereks and waltzes, and which are guaranteed to get you dancing along.

THE NIWIŃSKI FOLK BAND

Playing an active role in the Polish IN CRUDO scene for many years, the Niwiński band plays traditional music from Polish villages, focusing on selected regions and paying attention to local repertoires and styles of playing. Its members are the students of village musicians and singers, and are initiators of events revitalising and reviving traditional music. The band has released two albums of their own – Czas wesela (2017) and Pogłosy (2022), and has contributed to the work of many other bands inspired by Polish music.

MAŁA ORKIESTRA DANCINGOWA

A 12-person band playing music from the 1920s, in keeping with the spirit of the times! On the basis of historic recordings, the group creates musical arrangements in keeping with the originals. Its performances attract huge crowds and are guaranteed to get everyone dancing!

THE REGIONAL FOLK GROUP FROM LIPCE REYMONTOWSKIE

Founded in 1932, this is one of the oldest folk ensembles in Poland. Based in Lipce Reymontowskie – the village made famous by Władysław Reymont’s The Peasants –  members of this multigenerational group will present one of their signature pieces, Boryna’s Wedding. Audiences might recognise the costumes and characters from the 2023 film adaptation of the book, directed by DK Welchman and Hugh Welchman.

THE REPRESENTATIVE ORCHESTRA OF THE TERRITORIAL DEFENCE FORCE

The Representative Orchestra of the Territorial Defence Force functions within the structures of the Representative Centre of the Territorial Defence Forces, with its headquarters in Radom. The orchestra is formed mainly of Territorial Defence soldiers who have a musical background, and offers servicemen and women an opportunity to realise their additional passions.

PROMYKI FOLK DANCE ENSEMBLE

The Promyki Folk Dance Ensemble was founded in 1998. It is the representative artistic group of Wieliszew district, cultivating songs, dances and folk traditions from across Poland, as well as the five Polish “national” dances. The Ensemble is formed of 5 groups and nearly 150 individuals, ranging in age from pre-schooler to adult. It is led by instructor and choreographer, Dariusz Skrzydlewski.
