Hymns and Church Music

Mazowsze’s repertoire is enriched by classical and religious music concerts. Its symphony orchestra, renowned soloists and award-winning choir delight in this beautiful concert, which also provides a perfect musical backdrop for a mass or church service. During the concert, audiences might expect to be treated to performances of Mozart’s Requiem and Coronation Mass in C Major, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater and Moniuszko’s Litanie Ostrobramskie. The vocal repertoire includes Franz Schubert’s Ave Maria, Handel’s “Hallelujah” chorus, César Franck’s Panis Angelicus, Tomaso Albinoni’s Adagio in G Minor and much more. Hymns associated with different parts of the liturgical calendar as well as Marian hymns also form part of the programme.
