Shooting stars are supposed to grant wishes. But perhaps stars themselves have dreams and plans? The “youngest” of Mazowsze’s productions, this musical story is particularly popular among children and young people from 5 years of age, but “big children” will find lots to love here too!

The story follows two shooting stars who land in a world which is very different to the one they have come from. Their appearance and behaviour stands out in this new land, where everyone and everything has the same shape and colour. Its residents aren’t especially open to newcomers; will anything change in the light of these unexpected visitors? Grażyna Lutosławska’s colourful and humorous story encourages audiences to reflect on important issues of inclusion and diversity. Why do we often feel more comfortable among those who are like us? How can we meaningfully build relationships with those who look and think differently?  Wouldn’t it be worth sticking our head out of the clouds more often, to discover new and beautiful colours of whose existence we might have never been aware …..
