Join us on 6 April to experience a taste of the rich folk culture of Upper Silesia. Our guests from the Upper Silesian Ethnographic Park in Chorzów and the Fedaków band will introduce us to the traditional dress, craft, music and dance of this fascinating and diverse region.
Workshops will be led by the education team from the Upper Silesian Ethnographic Park in Chorzów.
11:00 | The galanda i czako: Silesian traditional dress – family workshop
Worskhop for families with children aged 6-12
Duration: approx. 1.5 hours
Tickets: 30 zł per person
13:00 | Silesian wall hangings – craft workshop
Workshop for adults and young people over the age of 12
Duration: approx. 2.5 hours
Tickets: 50 zł per person
16:00 | Singing workshop and talk about ethnographer and musicologist, Adolf Dygacz
Duration: approx. 1.5 hours
Entry is free with a valid ticket for the Centre for Polish Folklore’s permanent exhibition
18:00 | Social Dance with the Fedaków band
Duration: approx. 3 hours
Tickets: 30 zł per person
