Patriotic Songs

Mazowsze National Folk Song and Dance Ensemble’s concert of patriotic songs is a staple for national holidays and state occasions. It includes songs which have accompanied the Polish nation through its rich and often turbulent history, starting with the famous Warszawianka (La Varsovienne) of 1831, through songs of the partitions and wars to those sung during the Warsaw Uprising of 1944. Mazowsze Ensemble’s symphony orchestra and four-part choir guarantee a rousing performance of this moving programme.
