Karolin Christmas Market

The annual Karolin Christmas market is back, so join us for a weekend filled with festive spirit! Get ahead with your Christmas shopping, sample local specialities and join our Christmas craft workshops. On both days we’ll also be showing Mazowsze’s signature Christmas production, "Betlejem Polskie".

Betlejem Polskie / Polish Bethlehem
Alluding to key moments in Polish history, the action in “Betlejem Polskie” takes place against a backdrop of Polish landscapes and historical events, including the banishments to Siberia and the Warsaw Uprising of 1944. Nonetheless, it is a colourful show, full of dancing, singing and humour, featuring the most well-known and loved Polish Christmas carols, choruses of angels and, of course, the Holy Family.

Christmas Workshops
Christmas craft workshops will be taking place at the Centre for Polish Folklore during the weekend. On Saturday  we’ll be making festive wreaths while Sunday's sessions will focus on Christmas baubles inspired by the folk art of the Warmia region.
