This unique concert has been specially prepared to mark the Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union. Mazowsze Ensemble’s soloists, choir and orchestra under the baton of Maestro Jacek Boniecki, director of the Ensemble, will present a programme composed of traditional songs from the 27 EU member states in the order in which each country joined the European community, beginning and concluding with the anthem of the European Union. This
one-of-a-kind performance aims to highlight unity in diversity and the joy that arises from it.
The second part of the concert will feature Polish songs, paying tribute to world- renowned Poles.
Nearly 100 members of the Mazowsze Ensemble choir and orchestra will take part in the concert, together with soloists Adriana Ferfecka – soprano and Arnold Rutkowski – tenor.
